When I find myself thinking about politics, I inevitably have the following thought. Does it really matter? How will my relationship with God change if the USA developed into a communist/socialist/fascist/whateverist country? I would love to read your thoughts and others on the topic, but in the end I would want to keep it all in the perspective of my relationship with God. That is one of the first things I look for of a morning when I turn on my computer is reading your and Kevin's blogs. It just helps to get my day started better. You do make a difference in my day. While I particularly enjoy your thoughts on matters of faith, your politics are interesting as well. It may be related to my displeasure with the the whole Republican / Democrat / chose one of the above scene. You didn't ask, but I miss the RSS feed on the old site. I have had to resort to a Firefox plug in called "Update Scanner" to watch your page and a few others that don't offer RSS for changes. Since I don't manually check your page until it is flagged with a change, "dry periods" don't bother me or slow me when you do make an update.
