Lee, you are leaving for Thailand in six days, I am leaving for the Ukraine in four days! I'm going on a team of several preachers lead by David Deffenbaugh from the Tahlequah church, we're holding a seminar on the gospel of John for preachers, teachers and church leaders throughout the Ukraine. We're also going to be working some with a few orphanages.

Anyway, I've haven't visited your blog in a while, and thought it was crazy about both of our upcoming mission trips. I do wish you the best and to be safe and hope you have a great experience.

One of these days, you and I need to do some more "corresponding" again:)!! I'm still learning, thinking, questioning, and reexaiming!

God bless,

Your friend,

Rob Prater

I don't understand it, but I have been thinking more about politics recently as well, and I am having an internal debate with myself. When I find myself thinking about politics, I inevitably have the following thought. Does it really matter? How will my relationship with God change if the USA developed into a communist/socialist/fascist/whateverist country? I would love to read your thoughts and others on the topic, but in the end I would want to keep it all in the perspective of my relationship with God.

Lee,

Hello my brother in Christ. I was blessed by your prayer over me at the encounter. My wife Angela and I love little Tyler more than words can express. May your time back at home be a time of spiritual growth and personal renewal and God bless your home! FREEDOM!!! Gal. 5:1

I have been missing reading your blogs. That is one of the first things I look for of a morning when I turn on my computer is reading your and Kevin's blogs. It just helps to get my day started better. I don't care for politics as it just gets me upset the way things are going in our country but I would probably read them anyway.

I have enjoyed reading your blog, especially those that make me stop and think. You do make a difference in my day. While I particularly enjoy your thoughts on matters of faith, your politics are interesting as well. It may be related to my displeasure with the the whole Republican / Democrat / chose one of the above scene.

You didn't ask, but I miss the RSS feed on the old site. I have had to resort to a Firefox plug in called "Update Scanner" to watch your page and a few others that don't offer RSS for changes.

Since I don't manually check your page until it is flagged with a change, "dry periods" don't bother me or slow me when you do make an update.

Only if you don't mind if we talk back. ;) There's nothing like a rousing political discussion to get the brain going...
